Advanced Human Medicine Program 2022/2023
According to the Ministerial
Decision (13) issued on 18/1/2022 regarding the dispatch of students holding
first university degree (Bachelor’s) to advanced human medicine program of four
years (Graduate Entry). Registration opens on Monday 12/12/2022 until 12 Noon
on Saturday 25/3/2023. Students dispatch to Ireland in Limerick University.
Submission conditions:
1.Registration and application is
made through the Ministry's website only www.mohe.edu.kw
2. The applicant must be a Kuwaiti citizen.
3.The applicant must hold a Kuwaiti
high school diploma or its equivalent in the scientific section.
4.The applicant must not be over the
age of 30 years old.
5.The applicant must hold a first
university degree - Bachelor (Level 8) (BSc Honors), or its equivalent in one
of the scientific disciplines (Engineering, science, allied health sciences,
pharmacy) with an overall grade no less than the following:
·British and Irish System (2.1 Second Class Honors Grade 1)
·American System (3.00)
·Australian System
(Distinction)
·New Zealand System (Very
good)
6.Attaining a minimum score of (500)
in the MCAT test or its equivalent in the GAMSAT test.
7.Attaining a score of (6.5) in the
IELTS test, provided that it is not less than (6.5) in any of its items.
8.The applicant should not be an
employee, holds an academic licensee, or has a scholarship from another party.
9.The applicant should not have
obtained a scholarship that ended with withdrawal or dismissal.
10.The delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education is not
considered final until the applicant obtains an unconditional acceptance from
one of the universities that offers the advanced medicine program to which the
ministry delegates to.
11.The basis for preference between applicants is based on the MCAT
test score; the applicants with the highest score in the test are nominated for
the personal interview in universities according to the available seats.
12.The candidate is dispatched after passing the personal interview
and obtaining an unconditional final acceptance in the advanced medicine
program issued by the university to which he is delegated, certified by the
Cultural Office.
13.The applicant’s application will be canceled if he does not
refer to the Ministry to match the original justifications for submission
within (15) days from the date of announcing the nomination results for
delegation.
14.The application for registration will be canceled if the
required documents specified on the Ministry’s website in the student
registration system are not entered or completed before the deadline for
registration.
15.The results of the application will be announced via SMS and on the
Ministry’s website.
Procedures after announcing the names of the candidates for
delegation:
1.Dates are set for the candidates
for dispatch of the first university degree holders for the bachelor’s degree
for the advanced medicine program by the Ministry, after the announcement of
the results of the initial admission, with the necessity of adhering to the
specified date.
2.Visit the Ministry's website and
select "After Nomination" to view the instructions and required documents.
Documents to be submitted via scanning during the
registration process:
1.Uploading the transcript of high
school grades, including the sequence of school years without interruption, for
all high school grades according to each academic system.
2.A statement To whom it may concern
from the Department of Private Education at the ministry of education with the equivalency
of the public high school diploma for foreign high school graduates from inside
or outside the State of Kuwait.
3.The final certified transcript of
the bachelor's degree and a copy of the equivalency certificate issued by the
Ministry of Higher Education for university graduates outside the State of
Kuwait.
4.Applicant’s Civil ID.
5.Passport (Info Page).
6.MCAT score of (500) is required or
equivalent in GAMSAT as a minimum requirement for applying.
7.The final transcript certified by
the Cultural Office for Bachelor’s holders in the Science Program from
scholarships of the Ministry of Higher Education, to study human medicine or
dentistry in the USA or Canada, those who completed the first stage
(Pre-Medicine or Pre-Dentistry) and did not start studying the second stage in
the specialization.
Instructions for Electronic Registration:
1.The applicant must create a new
account in the registration system (in case the applicant does not have an
existing account).
2.Enter the name of the applicant in
both Arabic and English, corresponding to the passport.
3.Add a mobile number to contact the
applicant.
4.The applicant’s acknowledgment
that all the information they provided are correct, and they bear legal
accountability for this, and in the event they provide inaccurate information,
the Ministry has the right to cancel the registration.
5.The applicant should follow up on their
personal account to know the status of the application and see any notes from
the ministry, if any.
6.In the event that an SMS is sent
to the applicant to complete incomplete information or submit a missing document,
the applicant must complete the required information before the deadline.
7.Upload the required documents in
PDF format (clear and readable copy), and the size of the file does not exceed
900 KB.
8.In the event that the application
is completed, select “Send the form to the Ministry”.
9.The applicant can cancel the
registration application through the system before the end of the registration
period without the need to review the ministry.
Withdrawal from the mission after the announcement of the
nomination results:
An applicant wishing to withdraw
from the mission after announcing the nomination results must follow the
following steps:
1.Go to the Ministry of Higher
Education website www.mohe.edu.kw.
2.Choosing "electronic
services" from the main menu, then "completing the accepted
data", then "academic system".
3.Enter the civil number and password,
and after entering the system, please choose “Complete the accepted data” and
then “Withdraw from the mission”.
4.You must pay the fine for
withdrawal (150) Kuwaiti dinars electronically by pressing a button "Pay
Online". Then please select (Print) to keep the payment proof.
