Conditions for including private students to the Ministry's scholarships
1:
General conditions to be included:
1. Students
must be a Kuwaiti citizen.
2. Must
not be employed.
3.
Must be a holder of high school
diploma or its equivalent.
4. Should not have obtained a university degree
or its equivalent.
5. Must be accepted by an accredited university
by the Ministry in the field of specialization.
6. The specialization should be one of which
the Ministry dispatches to in the country of study.
7. The student must be continuing his studies
at the date of submitting the application for inclusion.
8. To provide the Ministry and the Cultural
Office with the study plan, which indicates the number of units required for
graduation and their distribution over the semesters or academic years.
9. The student must commit not to change his
specialty/major until graduation.
10. Joining the Ministry’s mission will take
place during the months of September and January of each year.

Conditions for including students studying in universities that follow the
credit hour system:
1. To have a TOEFL score of (500) or IELTS
score of (505) or above, or pass (verbal) SAT, or pass the English language
courses (Composition 102 & 101) successfully, if he finishes (Composition
102) from an educational institution approved by the four-year system and
recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Cultural Office.
2. Completion of (30) credits in the
two-semester system or (45) credits of the three-semester system (Quarter) at a
recommended four-year university or college at the place of study, with a
cumulative average of (2.50), provided that the number of credits is not less
than the last A semester of (12) academic units, with a semester average of no
less than (2). It is possible to accept from these units (15) units of study in
the Community College (Community College) for students in the two-semester
system, and (22.5) units for students in the three-semester system.
3: Conditions for including students studying in universities
that follow the annual system:
1. Successful completion of the first year of study in the annual system or
its equivalent in other countries, which is intended for the introductory year
or the advanced level (A Level).
2. To have an academic program approved by a university accredited by the
Ministry.
3. Passing the Diploma in French Studies (Deuxieme Degree) with
a good grade (Assey Bein), and obtaining admission in the first year of the
university.
