·         Submit official documents certified by the designated authorities and according to the conditions of the host country

·         To have obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent in accordance with the conditions and standards of the host country and the Ministry, so that the validity of the certificate does not exceed a period of two years from the date of obtaining it

·         Equivalency of the general secondary certificate (from outside Kuwait) at the Ministry of Education

·         Submit the original copy of the secondary school certificate completion form or its equivalent

·         Submit the official certificate from the designated authorities for the following certificates:

1.      Secondary school certificate or its equivalent

2.      Undergraduate and graduate studies

·         Pass the medical examination

·         Passing all foundation program requirements at the university

·         The applicant must not have obtained a scholarship or scholarship in a previous or current period and then withdrew or was dismissed from it

·         A bachelor’s student must devote himself entirely to study and may not be combined with any scholarship or scholarship offered by another body.

·         The postgraduate student must be academically authorized by his employer to obtain the required academic degree

·         The student and his guardian must be present in person when applying for a bachelor’s degree and sign the commitment pledge before the official authorities to pay all personal obligations during the scholarship period

·         He must fulfill the conditions set by the (host country/entity) and the Ministry

·         A student wishing to obtain a scholarship for a bachelor's degree must obtain a letter from Social Insurance stating that he is not employed

·         The student must abide by all decisions issued by the Ministry

·         The applicant must not be over the age of 23 years old

·         The student must apply for scholarship registration within the specified period of the Ministry's announcement.

·         The student is obligated to submit all the required papers within a week from the date of informing the student of the nomination, and if the papers are not submitted within the specified period, another student will be nominated.

Important notes:

·         Nomination does not mean final acceptance

·         Paying a fine of (150) Kuwaiti dinars in the event of withdrawal after the issuance of the decision to accept the student in the scholarship.

·         Monthly allowances are paid for specializations delegated by the Ministry only

o   To hold a high school diploma or its equivalent from technical certificates granted by similar institutes, provided that the enrollment of a high school graduate or courses in the Higher Institute of Musical Arts is preceded by successful passing of the preparatory class, which is organized by a special regulation.

o   The age of the applicant at the beginning of the academic year in which he is applying for admission should not exceed 24 years. The Board of the Institute, based on a proposal from the Dean, may increase the age of admission within two years, as a maximum for those with talent.

o   Medically fit.

o   Must be of Good Conduct.

o   To pass the entrance examination determined by the institute being applied for and to set its conditions.

The accepted applicant must provide the following documents:

o   Admission/application form completed with the required data.

o   Copy of nationality certificate or proof of it.

o   A high school diploma or an equivalent of technical certificates.

o   A certificate of exemption from military service or a certificate of postponement of enlistment.

o   Birth Certificate of an original copy of it.

o   An acknowledgment signed by the student of his full-time study at the institute for the period required for graduation. If the student is employed, he must submit a certificate from his employer allowing him a study leave.

o   An acknowledgment signed by the student not to work in the specialty he is studying at the institute without the written approval of the dean of the institute.
